Help yourself with this evidence-based, self-management, life-long, yoga tool-kit. ‘Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs' was used in the University of York high-profile yoga research trial. This 'best practice' yoga programme, is supported by Arthritis Research UK and available throughout the UK.
It consists of 12 weekly, small group, gentle classes that, along with handouts, a book and Relaxations CD, enables attendees gradually and progressively to learn how to improve their general and back health.
This is an ideal course for:
* beginners to yoga * those who have continual or episodic/recurring back pain looking for a long-term treatment option * those wishing to gradually get fitter, or condition their bodies after an injury * those wishing to return to regular exercise or general yoga classes * those who want to be motivated and shown how to safely, effectively and appropriately practice at home with maturity and subtlety of understanding (including those with experience of yoga).
