Muesli

Quantities to suit your appetite

Grain e.g. rolled oats, barley flakes, millet flakes, oat bran
Dried fruit (only preservative and sugar free) – chopped e.g. raisins, apricots, sultanas, currants, goji berries, dates, figs
Nuts (not roasted or salted), chopped e.g. brazil, walnut, pecan, cashew, hazel, peanut, almond, Macadamia, coconut or shop bought mixed chopped nuts
Seeds e.g. pumpkin, poppy, sunflower, sesame, hemp, linseed
Ground flax/linseed
Milk, soya/rice milk, orange or apple juice
Optional fresh ingredients; grated apple, pear or carrot, chopped banana, chopped strawberries, etc

Method

Can combine dry ingredients in large quanities and keep in a sealed container.

Combine dry ingredients in bowl with juice, this can be done the night before and leave covered until morning, then add fresh ingredients if using.

If using milk, combine in morning, and leave to infuse for as long as possible then add fresh ingredients and enjoy.
